On the occasion of the CURE-XF mid-term meeting held at CIHEAM Bari on 15-16 October 2018, our Project Officer, Mr O. Perez-Punzano, invited Mr Brink Gunnar, expert monitor of the European Commission’s Innovation Radar, to take part in the meeting with the purpose of interviewing all participants to better know their institutions and search for the most innovative consortium partner.
Following that meeting with the monitor expert, we are delighted to officialise that two of the innovations developed in the framework of the CURE-XF project were carefully chosen and CNR (Italy) and RUSSEL IPM (UK) have been recently identified as ‘Key Innovators”.
CNR was chosen forthe development of the innovation titled “Finding Varieties of Olives that are resistant to Xylella fastidiosa“.
RUSSEL IPM was chosen for the development of the innovation titled “Traps for Spittlebugs”
The aim is of the EC Innovation Radar is to make information about EU-funded innovations from high-quality projects visible and accessible to the public via the EU’s Innovation Radar platform. This will show citizens the many excellent technological and scientific advances being delivered by researchers and innovators around Europe, funded on their behalf by the European Commission.
We would like to congratulate our colleagues from CNR and RUSSEL IPM on their success for their constant research and innovation activities.
We are all very proud to be by their side and happy they could achieve this result in the framework of the CURE-XF Project.
